Description
The TPM-10 Digital Thermometer is an essential accessory for PCP airgun compressor users who want to monitor compressor temperature during high-pressure filling operations. Designed with a waterproof external temperature probe and a clear LCD display, it continuously measures the operating temperature of your compressor head, cooling block, or outlet.
During prolonged filling of PCP air rifles, buddy bottles, or carbon fibre cylinders, compressor temperatures can rise significantly. Monitoring the temperature helps prevent overheating, protects internal seals, improves compressor longevity, and promotes safer operation.
The TPM-10 is widely used on Yong Heng, GX, Tuxing, and similar 300 Bar / 4500 PSI PCP compressors. Install the probe near the compressor head or cooling system for real-time temperature monitoring while filling airguns or PCP cylinders. Many Yong Heng operating guides recommend continuously monitoring compressor temperature and allowing the unit to cool if temperatures become too high.
Benefits for Airgun Users
Prevents compressor overheating.
Extends compressor service life.
Helps maintain consistent filling performance.
Useful during long PCP cylinder or buddy bottle filling sessions.
Allows users to stop the compressor before excessive temperatures damage seals or internal components.
Typical Applications
PCP Air Rifle Compressors
Yong Heng Compressors
GX Series PCP Compressors
Tuxing Compressors
Air Venturi Compressors
Home-built PCP Compressors
Carbon Fibre Cylinder Filling Systems
PCP Buddy Bottle Filling Stations
Important Note
The TPM-10 does not measure air pressure. It only measures temperature, so it should be used alongside a pressure gauge when filling PCP air rifles or carbon fibre cylinders. Its external probe can typically measure from -50°C to +110°C, making it suitable for monitoring compressor operating temperatures.
